We are committed to providing a safe, caring, and secure environment for all students. In accordance with the policies of the Diocese of Wichita, all school employees and volunteers who work with children are required to complete VIRTUS training and remain compliant with diocesan safe environment requirements. VIRTUS training helps adults recognize the warning signs of abuse, promote child safety, and foster healthy boundaries and accountability within our school and parish community.

All individuals who plan to attend field trips, class parties, etc. at the school and/or volunteer within the school are required to attend a one-time VIRTUS training session. As such, we encourage all parent/guardians of SPCS students to complete VIRTUS training for participation in volunteer opportunities. We are grateful for the commitment of our staff and volunteers in helping maintain a safe and supportive environment for every child entrusted to our care. 

To register for a VIRTUS training session, go to http://Virtusonline.org/virtus or click the button below.  Register if you are a first-time user or login, and search for a class under “St Patrick Parish (Parsons)”.  SPCS typically offers a few local opportunities for training throughout the year as do surrounding parishes.
