Athletics at St. Patrick Catholic School are offered to middle school students as an extension of the classroom experience, helping to reinforce important values such as teamwork, responsibility, discipline, and personal integrity.

Our athletic program is guided by our Athletic Director - Mrs. Lori Nash, and supported by our SPCS PTO Booster Club. Coaches are appropriately VIRTUS trained and certified in CPR/AED use to ensure a safe and positive experience for all student-athletes. Student athletes must have a KSHSAA Physical and Concussion Release form completed and on-file.

Middle school athletic opportunities are offered seasonally as fall, winter, and spring activities. Eligibility is based on school and KSHSAA expectations. We participate in the Mineral Belt League in Volleyball, Basketball, and Track, while additional sports opportunities are offered through a cooperative agreement with USD 503 Parsons including Football, Cross Country, Tennis, and Golf.

Students may participate in optional preseason clinics designed to build skills and prepare athletes for team evaluations. Team placement is based on ability and participation numbers, ensuring appropriate opportunities for all interested students.

Parents are encouraged to be actively involved in supporting athletic programs and may be asked to assist in volunteer roles such as scorekeeping, concessions, gate, or event support. All volunteers are required to complete VIRTUS training, as well.
